Jacquie- I saw you in the video from the Astor Place dinner on the NY Mag website... Now some of these dishes sound really esoteric- raw venison liver and Umbrian style pig's head.... Was it good or is it just hype? Curious minds and taste buds want to know....

Cosentino is passionate about not wasting the lives of the animals we kill for chops and steaks. That means putting it all to tasty use.

Very interesting evening. Wonder if FN Canada ever ran their piece on the dinner? Remember your "friend" who interviewed us?

Yeah, yeah- of course. That segment- of the Astor Dinner is going to be in Cosentino's Episode for Season II of the show. So that means this fall/winter- it will be airing on the network. ONCE it airs, I'm sure I can hold a copy for you here in the GWNorth :-) I haven't seen the cut yet- will let you know if you're making your Cdn. debut!
