I recall the divine foie gras I had in the French town of Sarlat. I was studying in France and my Norwegian roommate and I visited this lovely town, bought a tiny $11 can of foie gras and a fresh baguette. The gorgeous smell of the foie gras and the fresh bread still makes me salivate.

In response to I recall the divine foie gras I had in the French town of Sarlat posted by asiantiger:

Isn't the way, our food memories are so vivid! I recall a picnic in an olive grove on Corfu. Some fresh cheese made by the locals, some olives, wine, bread...probably 20 years ago, but it was just one of those moments. I don't know where Sarlat is?

Thanks for writing!
