With the holidays approaching, I'm looking forward to getting fresh cranberries again. What is your favorite way to incorporate them into your cooking?

Hey Janice!
Favorites include:
Fresh cranberry sauce - so easy and delicious, not to be saved solely for holidays. Orange zest, juice and liqueur along with sugar create a wonderful side dish for turkey or chicken.
Stringing in garland is fun and beautiful. You can string on trees outdoors and feed the winter birds, or use on tree indoors.

I've made "standard" cranberry sauce before (i.e. read the back of the Ocean Spray package). You indicated your sauce is made with liqueur --- what type?

I like adding Grand Marnier or Cointreau. I also grate organic orange peel and squeeze the fresh orange juice. They're wonderful complementary flavors.
